The ridgepole of a roof

Osiris was sealed in a Sycamore (see page 24) coffin by his brother Set and placed in the Nile. Where the coffin landed a large tree grew up consuming the coffin within it's trunk. The tree was cut down and formed into a rooftree – still containing the body.

"Broken is the rooftree" of the house of Self. Said by Shakyamuni Buddha upon his enlightenment. "Housebuilder, thou are seen. Thou shalt build the house no more."
