Shem, Ham and Japhet

Seam: A line of junction formed by sewing together two pieces of material along their margins.

Hem: The bottom edge of a skirt or dress.

Jabot: An ornamental cascade of ruffles or frills down the front of a shirt, blouse, or dress.
