  • Phoenix Playhouse: a London theatre, built in 1618 at the location of teh recently burned Cockpit Theatre (hence the name Phoenix). It was thr home of the Queen's Men company until the Puritan closing of the theatres. It was reopened briefly just before the Stuart Restoration.
