Abbeygate refers to both the Abbey Theatre in Dublin where many of Yeats' plays were produced, and to the gate of Rabelais' Abbey of Theleme which was inscribed with the motto, "Fay ce que vouldras" (Do what thou wilt).

Crowalley refers to both the Theatre Royal in Dublin which was located on narrow Crow Street, and to Aleister Crowley whose primary spiritual motto was "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law".
