  • Eoin O'Duffy: (1892 – 1944) an Irish political activist, soldier and police commissioner. O'Duffy was the leader of the Monaghan Brigade of the Irish Republican Army during the successful Irish War of Independence / He leader of an Irish fascist movement (Blueshirts) in the 1930s. He later became the head of teh pro-fascist Blueshirt movement.
