Jump to navigationJump to searchLiebestod the Love and Death song, is the final song of Wagner's Tristan und Isolde. Isolde is reunited with Tristan who has just died. She sings and dies herself. "Mild und leise" the first words of Isolde's song, are also a common reference in the Wake.
