Jump to navigationJump to search- Plains of Abraham (also known as the Heights of Abraham): site in Quebec city, Canada, of a battle between English and French forces during the Seven Years War. The battle, also called the battle of Quebec, ended in the English capture of the city and the eventual end of France's Quebec colony. It also ended in the death of the victorious English general Wolfe.
