The halfmoon and Seven Stars

There are seven stars in the constellation called 'The Plough' or 'Big Dipper'.

The Seven Stars in the Book Revelation 1:16: "And He had Seven stars in his right hand". Stars represent messengers or angels. Thus the seven stars are angels sent to the seven churches in the book of Revelation, the messengers were sent at diverse periods to guide the church at appropriate times.. The stars referred to belong to the constellation called Ursa Major. These are visible throughout the year in the Northern Hemisphere and especially around April –May in the southern hemisphere.
