Uns his Noblett's surprize

Albert Einstein was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize for Physics for his explanation of the photoelectric effect in 1905 (his "miracle year") and "for his services to Theoretical Physics." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einstein

W.B. Yeats and G.B. Shaw both won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Joyce did not, but felt he deserved it. It probably would have galled him had he lived long enough to see T.S. Eliot win it as well.
